Scotty McCreery‘s rollout of new material from his upcoming album continues with the new introductory song in his set: “Rock This Night.” Written by Jim Beavers and Brett Beavers (frequent collaborators of Dierks Bentley), the catchy country rocker offers up the best hook Scotty’s had yet and a midtempo groove that lets Scotty dig into his lower register without compromising his phrasing.

How would you rank the 3 new songs Scotty has debuted? Here is full length video of “Suntan” (cowritten by Dallas Davidson, Jon Pardi, and Philip White) and “See You Tonight” (or “Gotta See You Tonight,” a Scotty cowrite).

I love all of them – Scotty wants a #1 and I think he might just have it this time.  I am really town between Rock this Night and See You Tonight.  Suntan is 3rd.  Maybe a little too much like what has already been done

Rock This Night is definitely my favorite–then it’s a toss-up between See You Tonight and Suntan.  But I love love love all three and can’t wait for the full album.  But what do I know…like I said before Scotty could sing the phone book and I’d be mesmerized.  Just love that voice!

“Rock This Night” could be Scotty’s equivalent to Aldean’s “My Kind of Party.” It will take his radio career finally where it belongs!
