Melanie Amaro has a single, “Respect” listed at Amazon with a February 2 drop date. Reportedly, it’s a cover of the Aretha Franklin song and is from the X Factor winner’s Pepsi commercial set to debut during the Superbowl. The spot was part of her winner’s prize that included a 5 million dollar record contract. Reportedly, Elton John will make an appearance in the ad.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ to reveal cast Feb. 28 on ‘GMA’ – ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” begins its next season on Monday, March 19. But the network will reveal the next batch of celebrities on Tuesday, Feb. 28. “Good Morning America” will be the spot for the announcement. – Read more at the Orlando Sentinel

Alanna was rejected on last night’s episode, but used her ‘AI’ platform to educate America about the delicacy known as Rocky Mountain Oysters … aka bull testicles. After struggling with weight issues and industry pressure to be thin, it was ultimately her 2-year-old son, David, who made her want to get in better shape. Cowell hints Jones may be axed from ‘X’ – Simon Cowell isn’t exactly mincing his words when it comes to the future of “The X Factor” host Steve Jones.
“He got a lot of stick,” Cowell told The Daily Mirror, using the British idiom for criticism. Jones took a lot of heat from viewers during the show’s first season on Fox, which ended late last month. He was criticized by some for his thick accent — while others didn’t like the way he interacted with the show’s contestants (and some complained he didn’t interact with the constants at all). “I don’t think he did a bad job but, like ‘America’s Got Talent,’ there is a Brit limit on the show,” said Cowell, who was auditioning contestants for his other UK show, “Britain’s Got Talent.” (Jones is Welsh.) – Read more at NY Post
