Yesterday, the flowers were in bloom in Washington DC for the annual Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, featuring TWO Idol alums.

Season 10 Idol, Haley Reinhart, sang her new single “Free” from high atop a parade float, and Season 9 alum, Siobhan Magnus sang Patti Labelle’s “Are You Ready For a Miracle” with The Praise and Glory Tabernacle Gospel Choir (I was NOT expecting that!)

     She was singing to a backing track. The crowd actually applauds before she’s finished, she sings the last line in subdued fashion then says “Thank You.”

    Dont like the song Free but Haley is beautiful and can sing anything - but my my Siobhan I  forgot how good this girl can sing -Fantastic!
