Daughtry – Feels Like The First Time – League of First Time Voters – VIDEO

Daughtry is teaming up with the CNN initiative ‘League of First Time Voters’ to encourage Americans to register and vote in the upcoming presidential election. Daughtry recorded a straight-ahead cover of the Foreigner tune “Feels Like the First Time”, which will serve as the official song of the campaign.

Very cool. I’m feeling all patriotic right here.

The song debuts tonight on CNN during Campbell Brown: Election Center, at 8 PM ET.

    Wow, just realized that the top 4 of Season 5 have all been in the news in the past week (with Taylor’s new album, Kat’s Barbie video, Elliott’s NA rendition at the Braves game, and now Daughtry’s first time voters’ video). It’s cool to see them all keeping busy. :)

    Yeah I think season five will be remembered as the golden season. It is for me at least, and I’ve watched from the very beginning. Even Kevin Covais has a movie out.

    Now you know I’m not going to let you forget Elliott! He may not be signed by a major label but he had a pretty successful tour himself last year and is currently on a short tour in Japan where his cd is almost gold. Yes, that was a special season indeed.
