Check out a preview of the new Celebrity Apprentice, premiering on NBC this Sunday, February 19. Idol alum, Clay Aiken, is a contestant, and as you will see here, he’s quite the hard sell salesperson as he squeezes an extra 500 dollars out of a big wig for charity. Whoa.

I have never watched this show before, and although I think Donald Trump is a total asshat, this show looks like fun. Yeah, we’re covering it here. BTW, volunteers who offered to recap? I’ll be in touch soon, or drop me a line again, because I am a space cadet.

Fellow castmate, magician, Penn Jillette is VERY impressed with Clay’s skills. Watch the clip below.

I’m glad you’re covering the show here mj.  Trump is a major douchebag, but this show is often hilarious.

I’m not surprised that Clay is great at squeezing money out of people.  He’s been doing it to his fans for years.  lol

I didn’t know that all those other artists with multiple versions of their work out are giving it away for free! Sign me up…I need some new stuff.:-)  LOL

Seriously, I commend them all for going on this kind of show (gawd, just the thought of the Trump in close proximity gives me willies) and exposing themselves  to likely ridicule, for their chosen charities. Yep, they get noticed again/still, but their charities stand to gain so much I think it would be worth it.;-)

Thanks for covering Celebrity Apprentice. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine. Yes, I abhor Trump. But this show is oddly fun, oftentimes funny, and just good TV.

It is fun to see these people out of their element and they often reveal a hidden side of themselves – for better or worse. Bonus is that if you miss the show, NBC puts them up pretty fast on their site to watch online.

I have a feeling that Clay goes very far.

I bet following it here will be better than the show!

I think it would be hard to follow it here without watching the show.

I’m so happy that CApp will be followed here as it’s great fun to see celebrities when the pressure is on.  I’m always surprised at how creative and able they are.  No way could I put together a 60 second commercial for a product or do a print ad for a product.  I find them all very resourceful and am constantly impressed.  It’s also fun to see them “lose it”.

This looks like it is going to be a great show.
I don’t see how they can go and go and go and not lose it.
It will be really interesting to see how all of them handle it.

I’ve watched a few episodes of the regular Apprentice (actually not full episodes) and seen only promos/ads for the Celebrity Apprentice, but never watched a full season/episode of either.  My problem is that I absolutely loathe Donald Trump.  Is it possible to watch the show without see him?  lol

I’ve never watched CApp before as I loathe DT, but maybe he’s turned a new leaf. Think it will be fun watching Clay as he’s had experience with fundraising for his charity. I think he’s dead serious about doing well. Interesting from the clips and interviews with contestants, for the most part they get along. Or not. ;-)

You loathe more than just The Donald. Probably best for your blood pressure if you don’t watch. ;-)
