America’s Got Talent, Big Brother Ratings Lead the Night

America’s Got Talent and Big Brother remained the Top 2 shows on the broadcast networks Wednesday night. AGT ratings in the 18-49 demo garnered a 2.2, down 1/10th from last week’s preliminary ratings (the number adjusted up to 2.4 in the finals). Big Brother stayed steady at 1.7. NBC led the night, with AGT serving as a strong lead in to the network’s coverage of the Republican National Convention.

The combined audience on ABC, CBS and NBC for the RNC (2.2, 9.78 million, pending updates) held steady with Monday and Tuesday.

UPDATE: America’s Got Talent rose 1/10th of a point in the final update.
