I think this is the same guy that had some U2b vids exhorting ppl to vote for Adam during the competition. I remember him singing in a funny helium-like voice: “Birdthz Flying Highthz, You Knowthz How I Feelthz…” or some crap like that. He was very funny, then… but it wouldn’t be funny if he does anything crazy tonight.

The way the stage is set up it would be impossible to get up there before security pulled you down. So don’t get to hopeful folks.

There is a “dry moat” around the stage, but security personnel at the concert I attended were so obese and out of shape, Fudd would have a chance.

Is that Fudd guy really going to do it? I saw his tweets earlier today and posted about it in the headlines thread, but thought it was a joke?

I think the original bubbletweet got deleted because it was kinda weird with Anoop backing away so fast because of Matt’s cheek rub and Matt’s comment about him not being able to handle a little Man-love was a little too much. It was Adam that said “freeze frame” right??

Rickey claims he was calling and texting the cellcaster to be quiet (or more quiet), but claims she and her friend ignored him.

I’m sorry, whatever their motivations was, that was just extremely rude, immature and annoying. I couldn’t hear Adam or Kris well at all because of what the cell caster and her friend were doing — and those are the two I tune in to hear!

The girl giving the cellcert was Brenda. She is the one that fills in for Rickey, and has let it be known that she is a Kris fan and doesn’t like Adam.

I don’t know who the guy was but I’d personally like to punch him in the face! His homophobic comments when Adam came on stage; booing Adam after WLL; talking and mocking through the entire set made me RAGE.

This was my show and I couldn’t go because I’m sick. Soooooooooo disappointed.

I was thinking that Adam probably just walked into the room, which is why Anoop said “Adam”. I think that we hear Adam’s voice after that, so I just assumed that Noop was acknowledging Adam entering the room.

I would be happy to contribute to their cause………………it’s very hard to hold that dang phone? anyway & try to have fun…….I just felt kinda bad cause some Adam fans felt ‘sabotaged’………….& this Kris fan does like that!

Rickey named all the folks who were cellcasting tonight and said they were some of his cellcasters from last year. He admitted that they were acting up but said he could not control what they were going to do.

Ricky is telling his audience that ” if they were totally anti-Adam they would just turn the cellcast off” during his set. He also says he was trying to get the cellcasters to stop their antics. But he is just going to move on now because people will be mad at him for any reason.

He also said he would be more excited to see Adam Lambert – more than Kris Allen, but thinks the fans are over reacting. He gets hate mail from many Idol fans who don’t think he is treating thier Idol correctly . . . .

The cell casters tonight are Rickey’s Mods…Brenda, Kathleen, Jeff, and another girl. I know this because I cell cast for Rickey last year and I was a Mod on a rare occasion. They had a gathering in St Louis this weekend, so there were at least 4 of his regular Mods there. And according to another of the Mods who was not there, whom I know & who told me this 2nite, this was planned by them because the Glamberts get obnoxious about Adam at times during the cell casts. It’s the same reason Adam’s set was “dropped” when another of Rickey’s Mods did the cell cast a couple weeks ago. I’m just telling you this as an explanation. If that’s the type of atmosphere Rickey wants for his cell casts, of course that’s up to him. We don’t have to like it and don’t have to attend them because we’re getting something for nothing, although lately it’s been nothing for nothing.

My 2 cents: We the listeners here really have no say in the matter. These people are doing this for free (I think) and have the right to do whatever at their concert. However, when they agreed to undertake the cell broadcast, their responsiblity is to Rickey to provide his blog w/a decent effort in transmitting the concert. JMHO.

That’s so frackin’ stupid. You don’t like what Rickey provides, don’t go there. He provides a service that other’s don’t. So either get your own website and cellcasts in gear, or just just do what I do kvetch about it elsewhere and partake of it when I want to. Or feel unhappy and don’t use his cellcast. That’s fine and valid. But “boycott”? It’s not that serious of business. It’s a crappy, free cellcast of a karaoke contest’s tour.

In fairness to rickey, his cellcast is open to everyone and he is not forcing everyone to listen to it. But I did notice that there are times when the volume is being lowered during adam’s set and then it will go full blast on kris set. It may be unintentional but this is the reason why I no longer listen to his cellcast. Besides, I am satisfied with the way mj runs her site in covering the tour.

Totally this. They’re just losers, their having a fanbase or hating some other idol, is irrelevant to this main point.

To ack, defend Rickey here, I don’t think he messes with the cellcast at all. I do think he actually works pretty hard to make this happen. And I think it’s only that Adam’s set has the onset of screaming fans which blow out the sound and that’s why Adam’s set, more than anyone else’s, is messed up. Allison’s set is usually screwed because it’s so loud as well, Kris’s sometimes gets screwed, because he gets lots of applause as well. I would not ascribe that kind of sabotage to Rickey at. all. And he’s not getting my love tonight, but I have to be fair.

To ack, defend Rickey here, I don’t think he messes with the cellcast at all. I do think he actually works pretty hard to make this happen. And I think it’s only that Adam’s set has the onset of screaming fans which blow out the sound and that’s why Adam’s set, more than anyone else’s, is messed up. Allison’s set is usually screwed because it’s so loud as well, Kris’s sometimes gets screwed, because he gets lots of applause as well. I would not ascribe that kind of sabotage to Rickey at. all. And he’s not getting my love tonight, but I have to be fair

I don’t think that Rickey messes with the cellcasts. The more screams, the worst the sound is from the cellcast. It doesn’t matter which idol is performing.

The cell casters tonight are Rickey’s Mods’ ¦Brenda, Kathleen, Jeff, and another girl. I know this because I cell cast for Rickey last year and I was a Mod on a rare occasion. They had a gathering in St Louis this weekend, so there were at least 4 of his regular Mods there. And according to another of the Mods who was not there, whom I know & who told me this 2nite, this was planned by them because the Glamberts get obnoxious about Adam at times during the cell casts. It’s the same reason Adam’s set was ‘dropped’  when another of Rickey’s Mods did the cell cast a couple weeks ago. I’m just telling you this as an explanation. If that’s the type of atmosphere Rickey wants for his cell casts, of course that’s up to him. We don’t have to like it and don’t have to attend them because we’re getting something for nothing, although lately it’s been nothing for nothing.

I believe you. I didn’t listen tonight but I remember when Adam’s set got dropped “accidentally”.

This is what happens when the blogger and the ops don’t like one contestant but many of the people who listen to the cellcast do. It’s inevitable that there will be problems.

The only thing that bothers me is that this stuff is immature. If they don’t like Adam don’t cellcast his set. Problem solved. A lot of Adam’s fans won’t listen and Rickey and his ops don’t have to listen to Adam. Just can these charades because all they do is cause drama.

Why is there so much Drama? can’t we just enjoy the last few weeks of this tour?

C’mon people, the Steven Fudd guy is a funny comedian who has crazy love for Adam. He is not actually crazy. He is married with kids, I think. I remember seeing a video of him and family during the show. He had something good to say about other idols too. I would rather have his funny tweets than cellcast gate/drama. He meant no harm and made the concert tonight more enjoyable to follow.

About cell cast gate, I would have to get it all second hand as I just did because I cannot take those cell casts. As I’ve said before, I think I listened to the first 25 minutes of Portland, then couldn’t take it another minute. I’ve tried countless times to do it again, but turn it off almost immediately. It is nails on a chalkboard to me. Those who can hang and report back ‘“ I salute you.

But I do agree with Zseus (that’s spelled wrong, I’m sure), it’s rude to behave that way in a concert regardless. It’s like having the security personnel blather on about their daily grind while you’re trying to watch a concert you paid good money for. Rude and uncalled for. If it was part of some malicious agenda ‘“ even worse. C’mon people! How old are we?

Steve Fudd ‘“  didn’t know what to think of him, but the comedian theory makes sense. And yes, he seems a tad manic, but then again, so do many comedians (extreme examples, I know,) but Robin Williams or Jim Carrey, anyone? If I was their wives I’d probably tune them out, divorce them (it’s been done) or just get used to it too.

Either way, he was pretty wild. Maybe he was just trying to get Glambert followers. Who knows. But he was entertaining. I had to keep checking in to see if anything happened with streak-gate, which I wasn’t really expecting.

Hello everyone – read through everything before posting – tonight was amazing. They were correct that the crowd loved almost everyone. Only Megan didn’t get a lot of love – and I couldn’t help thinking that if she could have picked her own songs, how much different it would have been for her. I thought Lil got a good reaction from the crowd, esp. during Single Ladies.

Michael sounded really good, as did Scott. Anoop’s voice was wonderful. Matt was great, and the crowd loved him. Have no idea why he hasn’t been signed yet. We all know Allison is incredible, and I do think she sings So What better than Pink. I enjoyed Danny’s set – maybe not as much as some of the others, but yeah, I could see him doing well in country.

Adam – there just aren’t words to describe it. And he looked really happy with the reception he got from the crowd. The mic stand fell over, and he picked it up again. I was a little too hypnotized to see exactly what happened – sorry.

The curtain that drops down for Kris is just strange. There was air blowing behind it, so it was kind of billowing out towards Kris. I thought his set was also really good. Didn’t see very many people leaving. And he got a lot of love from the audience.

Didn’t go out to the barricades before or after, so I can’t report on that. I’d expect that there will be a lot of videos. We were on the side, about 20 rows up. Looking towards the stage during Adam’s and Kris’s set, it looked like every other person was recording it – no nazis in sight.

I just got back from the concert and I had such a great time! St. Louis showed a lot of ‘love’ to all the Idols. One of them, I can’t remember who, commented that it felt like a ‘home town’ crowd here.

I really enjoyed Matt. He was the first to really get the party going. He got lots of applause. Anoop was, also, well received. But the drops of water on his background screen was distracting and kind of ridiculous looking.
Danny, also, got a lot of applause. But, I’m sorry, the mic straddling and jacket throwing was just plain ‘silly’ looking to me!

The crowd went completely ‘nuts’ for Adam. He was absolutley ‘mesmerizing’. I can’t explaining it any other way. Now I know what people meant when I heard them describe him that way here. His set was over way too fast!

Kris, also, got a whole lot of applause. His set was good.

I’m really tired but just wanted to give a quick recap.

Yeah, I just checked the adamofficlal concert thread and there it was. A tempting morsel that was….just another frickin’ tease. Bad, audio. Criminal, really. why even post something like that? Maybe we are just not supposed to see last night. Some sort of preparation for end of tour in two weeks.

Now I got me some satisfaction. Much better. Not the best quality, but at least the girl kept the camera still and followed Captain Glitter well. Nice recovery on the micstand fall.

He didn’t drop the mic, the micstand fell behind him. He picked it back up, no harm no foul.

He was almost done, so he really probably should’ve just left it there and moved on, but no – our boy has to make a production out of picking it up with a flourish. Oh, our boy….

ravengirl–Yes the mic fell. Adam was turning around like he did at another concert when the stand moved but didn’t fall. Well..this time it fell over. I think his tails hit it! He picked the mic back up and I think it definitely through him off a little! But he recovered really fast! I’m sure a lot of people didn’t even see it.

Hi everyone!! I just got home a little bit ago from the St. Louis concert. I have not posted here, but follow along quite often. I just wanted to let everyone know that all of the idols sounded awesome! My sons and I had a great time! My 8 year old got up close and personal with Miss Allison. He got his finger smashed in the door and we had to go behind the scenes to sign some paper work and get him looked after. We were sitting right were the idols were coming out to do autographs! We saw Scott come out with his mother and Megan walked right past us going back to wherever they go. Allison actually stopped and talked to my son!!!! He was so excited – he said he forgot about his finger hurting!!! I even got his picture with her (I’ll have to post it later!!) Oh, we rode the Metrolink with Katy Allen!! Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of her..

Yeah, me too. He did that move at the Dallas show and it was awesome. I love that spin! But it caught him up a bit tonight. And no, he can’t let it just lie there! He’s got to play with it. It’s on the stage, waiting for him to pick it up,

If anyone cares. And I know all of you do. There was some debate us anoop fans regarding Mad and if his voice cracked at :51. And, the verdict was that it did not. It was intentional. Anoop’s tour reputation of not cracking once is still going strong. His little note at :51 is pretty funny though.
