Adam Levine and James Valentine from Maroon 5 recently joined The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon for a little incognito subway busking.

The trio donned disguises to give an impromptu performance of Queen’s “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” and Maroon 5’s hit single “Sugar” on the 50th Street station subway platform right below Rockefeller Center in New York City.

New Yorkers barely paid attention as The Voice coach launched into a hokey version of “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.” But by the end of the song, a crowd began to form as commuters began recognizing the celebrities in their midst.

By the time the trio tore off their disguises and performed he band’s hit “Sugar,” commuters had caught on, scrambling to pull out their cell phones to record the surprise set.

FYI: Adam Levine follows in the footsteps of his fellow The Voice coach Miley Cyrus. Check out the subway performance with Jimmy Fallon that was filmed over the summer HERE.

The Voice is currently airing live shows on Monday and Tuesday. Join us tonight (Nov 27) as we live blog the Top 11 performances.
