The Voice 18 Polls: Vote for Your Favorite Contestants
The Voice season 18 knockouts are done. Next week, NBC will air a clip show. But then on May 4, the LIVE shows begin! The Voice producers haven’t explained exactly how it will all go down. But coach Blake Shelton did call it nuts. He is really the only cast member from any competition show willing to get real about how the coronavirus has turned the reality tv world (and everything else) upside down. The template NBC will likely use will probably be very similar to how American Idol plans to go live on Sunday (April 26).
In any case, the end of the Knockouts left 20 artists in the competition. Sixteen singers will compete for a spot in the finals. However, FOUR singers saved by their coaches in the Battles, performed in a four way Knockout. Afterward, fans voted for their favorite singer. The winner will be announced at the first live show on May 4. Seventeen singers will remain.
The season has been weird. Fewer Tuesday shows meant fewer contestants to compete. Production halts due to coronavirus concerns have upended reality shows across the board. Still, the current season boasts a ton of talent. Thunderstorm Artis, Toneisha Harris, Joanna Serenko, Megan Danielle and more could win the competition. Having no clear front runner adds to the excitement. Too bad this season is not longer.
