Oh Noes. A thief stole Phillip Phillips’ expensive bicycle Tuesday night outside of the Los Angeles studio where the American Idol 11 winner was recording his next album. The good news–the incident was caught on video. But unfortunately, the video quality is not the greatest. It’s difficult to make out any distinguishing characteristics of the thief.
According to TMZ, Phillip’s crew unloaded equipment, but left some outside the building in what they thought was a secure area. Hours later the thief spotted the $800 GT mountain bike before nabbing it and pedaling away.
Leaving expensive equipment outside anywhere is pretty foolhardy. I wonder how annoyed Phillip was with his crew afterward.
