Jennifer Lopez’s love letter from the Idol producer’s last week helped propel her album “Love?” to higher than predicted numbers. She had the 5th best selling album of the week with 83K in sales.
I’m going to include her in the Idol albums section because if I didn’t, I wouldn’t have much to put there. Jennifer Hudson continues to be the top selling Idol contestant this week with a 23% increase in sales (Mother’s Day features a fair amount of gift giving…so the legend goes). Also seeing a big percentage increase this week is Season 5’s Mandisa who sold 25% more than last week.
Lady Antebellum appeared on Idol this week and that helped to increase their sales by 93% as they close in on 3.5M
