‘Smash’ Covers Adele: Katharine McPhee Talks Singing ‘Rumor Has It’ – Everybody wants a piece of triple Grammy winner Adele, even NBC’s “Smash.” In the fourth episode of the new musical drama, Katharine McPhee covers the singing sensation. After practicing her dance moves, McPhee’s character Karen and her fellow “Marilyn” actors take the stage to rock out to Adele’s “Rumor Has It.” “I was super excited about that,” McPhee told HuffPost TV when asked about the Adele cover. “I was a little bit like, ‘Oh god, this whole record of hers is so epic and everybody is obsessed with it and everybody knows it. Whitney Houston Transported to New Jersey; Funeral Planned for Friday – Whitney Houston’s body was flown from Los Angeles to her home city of Newark, N.J., on Monday night, several days before the music legend was scheduled to be laid to rest. A private jet touched down at Teterboro Airport about 10:30 p.m., transporting her casket into a gold-hued hearse, which joined a cavalcade of three police cars to bring Houston to Whigham Funeral Home, the New York Post reported.
