Dalton Rapattoni Announces School of Rock Tour

After Dalton Rapattoni was eliminated from American Idol in 3rd place, he promised a tour of some sort where he could travel the country, play for fans and thank them for their support.

On Friday (5/6), the singer made an announcement via video that he’ll soon be embarking on a tour sponsored by the School of Rock, the organization he worked with in Texas, teaching kids how to find the inner rock star within.

“I made a promise to you guys…I was going to come around and thank every one of you personally for all the support you gave me–not only on Idol, but during my entire career as a whole,” says Dalton in the video, “Thanks to School of Rock, I am able to do that, with the School of Rock Gives Back Tour, I’m going to be coming around in multiple cities at School of Rocks and sitting in with their house bands for a couple of songs, and hanging out at their end of season shows. There will be a meet and greet, and that’s going to be free, just so I can thank every one of you.”

The concert dates are posted at this link. Several of the dates are sold out already, including the first in Fort Washington PA, Temecula CA, The Woodlands TX and Fullerton, CA. So hurry, if you are interested. Keep checking the link, Dalton says there are more dates to come. The tour runs from May 20 through June 26.
