A listing at Amazon.com kinda spilled the beans ahead of an official announcement from James. But it was still plenty exciting when the Season 10 Idol alum tweeted confirmation today that the name of his debut album is James Durbin..Memories Of A Beautiful Disaster.

Two American Idol alums are represented on the The Official Game Day Music EP that is out on iTunes. Season 6 Idol winner, Jordin Sparks has a cut called “You Gotta Want It” and Season 10’s James Durbin’s tune is “Stand Up”.

Season 6 winner, Jordin Sparks and Season 10 alum James Durbin have both scored new tunes on the Official Gameday Music package Volume 2, coming out on September 27.

Watch the trailer for the documentary on Tourette Syndrome that features American Idol Season 10 alum, James Durbin. The film focuses on Ariel Small, a suburban Chicago teen who struggles with the uncontrollable tics caused by Tourettes. Ariel meets James, who as most of you know, also battles the syndrome. James serves as an inspiration to Ariel, making the young teen realize that anything is possible.

It’s finally official. James Durbin has signed to Wind Up records. His debut album is due in November. Read the press release, posted on his official website below. Daughtry producer, Howard Benson will helm James’ debut, set to be released in November. Congrats James!

UPDATE: According to THR, James will begin recording his vocals next week, and will continue once the Idol tour has finished.

These candid photos of James Durbin from the tumbler of Michael Scott Slosar were supposedly taken at a photo shoot for Wind Up Records.

I’m assuming that Slosar is the photographer, but I cannot confirm these pictures are for a label. No matter. There are a slew of photos of James on the site, so enjoy!
