UPDATE: Looks like we’re back up. Again, I apologize for the sudden interruption of your posting fun…
From the Haloscan news page:
There will be some maintenance work going on at the datacenter where the HaloScan servers are located as they’re upgrading their datacenter.
Because of this, the HaloScan service will (temporarily) go offline for a while later today around 4PM Eastern US time.
Everything except this blog will be offline during the maintenance period (this weblog is hosted on servers in a different datacenter in case of emergencies like this). This blog will be updated with any status updates regarding the downtime.
This update was only posted 4 hours ago, and unfortunately, the blog went down too. Sawry there was no advance notice. The announcement page just came back up. They promise to keep their users updated. Hopefully, comments will be back up and running soon.
