Ratings are in from TVByTheNumbers On ABC, the second episode of Duets scored a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating. down 12% from a 1.7 last week. DANG. Duets dropped 12 percent from last week! I guess

Watch the Walmart Shareholders Meeting 2012. Jessica Sanchez hinted yesterday on twitter that she was flying off to someplace special.

UPDATE: There were NO Idols at the big Friday shareholders meeting this year! That’s a first for me since I began covering Idol in 2006. Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, David Cook, Kris Allen, Lee DeWyze and Scotty McCreery ALL performed at the Walmart Shareholder’s meeting the year they took the crown. Jennifer Hudson performed as well, I believe in 2007.

FOX Executive Says American Idol Could Last 17 Seasons

A News Corp. executive told an investor conference Thursday that FOX is optimistic that it can stop the aging American Idol’s ratings decline. The exec also said the show could last up to 17 seasons.

Duet’s Johnny Gray – Was He Disqualified?

Duet’s Johnny Gray who was one of John Legend’s duet partners, was replaced this week by a new contestant–Melena Brown. The show’s host, Quddus, didn’t go into detail, but it was implied that Johnny dropped out.
