One Direction Storms the Today Show (VIDEO)

The Simon Cowell-created boy band, One Direction is taking the US by storm, or so it seems by the crowd that jammed Rockefeller center this morning for a Today Show concert. The news show reports that 1D broke a record–the concert was bigger than those by Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga.

If you haven’t heard of them, here’s your chance to check them out. Or, if you’ve got tween daughters, you might want to point them in 1D’s general direction. That’s the band’s target audience.

American Idol 11’s Haley Johnsen – New Arrangement of “Sweet Dreams” – (VIDEO)

American Idol 11 top 24 contestant, Haley Johnsen, did not make the Top 13, in no small part to a performance of the Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams” that frequently went out of tune. Randy Jackson called her performance “trainwrecky” and Jimmy Iovine labeled her style as “robotic mimicking.”

With redemption in mind, I would imagine, Haley has posted the version of “Sweet Dreams” she would have liked to perform on Idol. The recorded version here is fantastic. But I’m not sure a different arrangement would have solved her tuning issues. That being said, there’s no doubt that Haley can sing.

Casey James – “So Sweet” Music Video Plus Album Song Reveal (VIDEO)

Casey James long awaited self-titled album comes out on March 20. In the run up to it’s release, a song a day will be revealed on various websites. Here’s a list of when and where each song will be revealed. Today’s song is “She’s Money” and it’s at USA Today.

Also, here’s a new music video for Casey’s song “So Sweet”. American Idol.com says it’s Casey’s “next single”.
