X Factor’s Tate Stevens, Demi Lovato Ready To Release New Singles (UPDATED)

Tate Steven’s“Holler If You’re With Me” was just background for his Pepsi commercial. The X Factor winner’s “real” single is called “Power of a Love Song” and goes for adds March for 11. The song was written by Bradley Gaskin, Mark Johnson and Jeremy Bussey.

This is the kind of song that helps set Tate Stevens apart from the pack of newcomers. His voice is a voice which rivals quite a few top stars with more depth and emotional punch than one might expect to hear from a former road construction worker. Again, this is the kind of song that he excelled at singing on “The X Factor” and it proves he DOES have the X-Factor that so many artists struggle to find.

Quite simply “Power Of A Love Song” sets Tate Stevens apart. Instead of delivering a Peach Picker-like ditty that is similar to everything else on radio, “Power Of A Love Song” stands out and showcases Tate Stevens as a strong-voiced singer ready to become the first true star to come out of The X Factor.

Alrighty then. I guess we’ll see if his first single is an improvement over the cliche-ridden “Holler If You’re With Me.”.. Click to check out the lyrics.

Eh. It’s cliched too. But in a different way–it’s a power country ballad.

Meanwhile, X Factor judge, Demi Lovato is getting ready to release her next single “Heart Attack”. The singer will preview the song–the first release from her next album–March 4 on The Ryan Seacrest radio show.

“For a while, I could tell that, when people would talk to me, they knew my story,” Demi says in the clip, “I think I’ve opened up more on this album. My life began to evolve, and I started to grow.” Via Billboard
