X Factor UK – Simon Cowell Announces Halloween Twist

Horror of all horrors.

Guess what: 2 acts will be leaving the competition this weekend! And this won’t be just a standard double elimination – The act with the lowest number of votes will be leaving us on Saturday and on Sunday there will be a sing off.

All 11 remaining acts were summoned to Simon Cowell’s office where he revealed the twist and had some harsh words for the finalists.

Frightening double eviction twist this weekend
It may be Fright Night, but The X Factor has pulled out the horror of all horrors – a double eviction with a twist!

This Saturday night, NOBODY is safe. The act with the least votes during Saturday’s show will automatically go home.

Dun, dun, daaaaaaaaaaah!

And if that wasn’t scary enough for the contestants, one more act will be eliminated on Sunday night, but at least they’ll have the chance to sing for their survival in the Sing Off.

Simon Cowell called a meeting with the contestants and told them, “There’s going to be another double elimination again this weekend, and the difference is this week is there is going to be a twist. And the twist is, on the Saturday, the person with the lowest vote is going to leave the show. No Sing Off, just whoever is in the bottom is out. And there’s a Sing Off on Sunday. So there are no second chances. This is how important the conversation is now and how important the performance is on Saturday and Sunday. We decided to do this because I think you all need a bit of a wake up call.”

So, if you DON’T want your favourite contestants to go home this weekend, then MAKE SURE YOU VOTE for them !

Don’t forget that you can vote for free on The X Factor app!

One X Factor act ‘to face shock instant elimination on live programme following showdown with Simon Cowell’
Simon Cowell reportedly called a crisis meeting following last Sunday’s shaky X Factor sing-off between Jake Quickenden and Only The Young, according to The Sun newspaper.

During the talk, which is said to have taken place at Cowell’s London office, the music mogul reprimanded the remaining contestants for not giving the live shows their all.

The 55-year-old also left the hopeful ‘shell-shocked’ as he informed them that the act with the lowest number of votes on Saturday night’s show will be instantly eliminated from the competition.
