One Direction announce launch of highly anticipated fifth album Made In The A.M… ahead of UK leg of world tour
One Direction announced the launch of their fifth album on Tuesday, named Made In The UK.

The band announced the pre-album launch with a video message which delighted their fans on Tuesday, with the full album being released globally on Friday November 13th.

To celebrate the launch of the album, One Direction released a track from the album as a special surprise for anybody who pre-orders the album or streams through online retailers.

He may be the one of the biggest pop sensations in the world, but that hasn’t stopped Harry Styles from being super protective when it comes to his loved ones.

During One Direction’s highly-anticipated set at Apple Music Festival on Tuesday, the 21-year-old frontman joked that he was keeping his eye on his sister Gemma, who had brought a date to their gig.

‘Sorry if I seem a little distracted,’ he told the buzzing crowd. ‘My sister is on a date. They’re up there somewhere… So just please behave yourselves, it’s disgusting.’

One eagle-eyed fan spotted the expectant American cheering on Louis, 23, and the rest of his bandmates – Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne – in a taped-off area near to the stage on the first of their six gigs at the huge venue.

The track is from their upcoming album, Get Weird, and was co-written by Jess Glynne (Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be”). “Grown” seems to have been written for the person who was never noticed when they were younger but deserves a second look now. Richard Holloway also discusses ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and changing viewing habits in the digital age.

Richard Holloway, the executive producer behind such TV shows as the U.K. version of The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, ?on Tuesday suggested the big entertainment formats may be aging, but could continue their on-air run for at least a while longer.

“Nothing is forever,” the TV veteran, who leads FremantleMedia U.K.’s production firm Thames, told a Royal Television Society (RTS) Futures event in London when asked how much longer ITV singing competition X Factor could air, adding that there was no entertainment program without a life span.

He acknowledged that the X Factor’s overnight ratings have declined again this year, but emphasized that “viewing habits have changed enormously, especially in the last couple of years … we all got to appreciate that and kind of consider it more.” He said media coverage was still often obsessed with overnight data, even though that does not fully show the “true story” as on-demand viewing was bigger nowadays.
