It’s hoped the return of tried and tested faces on the X Factor judging panel will bring back the success of the show’s glory years.
And the first picture of fan favourite line-up Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell sat together behind the iconic audition desk has been revealed ahead of the ITV programme’s thirteenth series.
Irish entertainment manager Louis, 63, who quit the show ahead of the twelfth series in 2015, looked delighted to be back, grinning broadly from his position on the right of the panel.

They’re on the hunt for a brand new star.
But it was out with the new and in with the old where the judges were concerned as The X Factor auditions kicked off at the King Power Stadium in Leicester on Friday, where former judges Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh were back to reclaim their coveted seats on the famous talent show panel.
Leading the glamour was Nicole, 37, who looked to have coordinated her look with the red carpet as she sashayed her way into the arena in a scarlet trouser suit.

Writing to fans on Instagram, the former One Direction star said: ‘Unfortunately my anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me.
‘With the magnitude of the event I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career,’ the 23-year-old continued, cancelling the gig one and a half hours after he was due on stage.

The British musician, 25, has been accused of making a ‘note-for-note copy’ of a Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard song called Amazing, released by X Factor winner Matt Cardle six years ago.
Ed’s song Photograph came out in 2014 as part of the No. 2 album Multiply and has most recently been used in the soundtrack for big screen romance Me Before You.
