Harry Styles Will Leave One Direction Next, According to Lance Bass
One Direction may be in store for another shakeup before too long — at least, according to a surprisingly dishy Lance Bass.

“I just see Harry [Styles] leaving soon, and I don’t see another One Direction album happening after he leaves,” Bass said on the The Meredith Viera Show. He also noted that Styles has been recording on his own for some time and planned to leave One Direction before Malik broke away first. “Harry Styles has been ready to go solo for many months. The Zayn thing was just spur-of-the-moment, but it was the best thing [Zayn] could have done because now he’s a household name.”

It seems like another day, another drama for the One Direction boys, but on Friday, while Louis Tomlinson was spotted with a suspicious looking cigarette, bandmates Liam Payne and Niall Horan were showing themselves to be consummate professionals.

The two singers were spotted heading to a recording studio in west London, just hours after having made an early-morning exit following hours of dedicated work on their anticipated new music.

They were casually dressed for their second consecutive day of work, with Liam donning a black longline T-shirt with matching skinny jeans and Niall stepping out in a grey newsboy cap with a green jacket and jeans.

X Factor’s Stereo Kicks: A number one would be ‘unbelievable’
We meet Stereo Kicks in London, chilling out before the final gig on their UK tour.

“Every crowd has been brilliant,” says Tom Mann, the writer of the band’s first single Love Me So.

Despite being two months away from release, the ballad has already made it into the iTunes top 40 on pre-orders alone.

The eight piece boy band were put together on last year’s X Factor and left the competition in week eight.

Cynics may have expected the band to split up once the show was over but Casey Johnson says they were “always” going to stay together.

The band have more than 270,000 Twitter followers and some fans camped out from 5am in the queue to their London show.

The words “surreal” and “amazing” get used a lot in the interview and Chris Leonard says it would be “unbelievable” to get a number one with their debut song.

Newsbeat sat down with all eight to find out how it’s going.

‘I like to let my music do the talking,’ said the 26-year-old , who is self-releasing her new tunes, such as the appropriately titled Renegade.

‘It’s quite personal, it’s a lot to do with private life, love life and professional life all mixed into one that I’m talking about.’

Burke, who won The X Factor in 2008, was later dropped by Simon Cowell and subsequent labels. She then went through a rocky romance with ladies’ man footballer Jermain Defoe, 32, that ended in 2012.

‘Basically, any rumours that were about me I put them straight into my music,’ the singer told Guilty Pleasures.

Louis Walsh may be back on The X Factor this year after all
It turns out that in true Louis Walsh fashion, the X Factor judge has no idea about anything.

Just a week after claiming he was “done” with the show, it may be that Louis is back after all.

“My day job is as a manager, I’ve kind of neglected that. I want to get back to being a manager,” Louis told Ireland’s TV3 earlier this month. “I’m working with Shane Filan, he’s got a new record coming out, and I’m working with Hometown. I’d like to get back to where I started off… I never wanted to be on TV, it just happened.”

He added: “I’ve done 11 seasons. That’s a long time on television. I think they’re going to change it, go for a few new faces.”

They’re statements we’ve all heard before from the Irish music mogul who seemingly says he plans to quit every year.

Mel B ‘AXED from X Factor’ as Simon Cowell continues to freshen up the show
“Simon has made up his mind,” says close show source, as the judging line-up remains unclear

Mel B will not be spicing up The X Factor this year and has been axed from the judging panel by Simon Cowell .

The 39-year-old was never far from controversy on the 2014 series and famously missed the first night of the final weekend with a mystery illness.

Despite being widely praised for her no nonsense attitude and comments on the show, bosses have now decided Spice Girl Mel will be replaced as they try to remodel the singing talent show to try to take on Strictly Come Dancing in the ratings.

A show source said: “It is now looking very, very doubtful she will come back, Simon has made up his mind.

“She is doing America’s Got Talent at the moment so she hasn’t completely fallen out with Simon, but he wants to freshen up X Factor.

She’s got the EX Factor: Mel B dumped from show
The former Spice Girl has apparently been axed from The X Factor after just one series on the TV talent show.

The reasons behind Cowell’s cut are unclear but it does mean that only he and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini are guaranteed on the judging panel following Louis Walsh’s annual quit threat.

Last series saw one of Mel’s acts, Andrea Faustini, make the live show final. Sadly, Mel couldn’t make the show herself when she was taken to hospital amongst speculation that her husband Stephen Belafonte had hit her, something she denied.

An X Factor insider said: “Bosses are evolving The X Factor and it has been decided Mel won’t return.”

Speaking to the Sun, another show source said: “Simon and the producers are now looking for a replacement for Mel. If they fail to find a suitable candidate there is a very small chance she could be back.”

‘He’s a control freak’ Is Mel B’s husband the cause of her X Factor axing?
The former Spice Girl was dropped from the panel by Simon Cowell earlier this week, and now her brother-in-law has claimed that Stephen Belafonte’s controlling behaviour was to blame.

Producers reportedly grew tired of Mel’s hubby’s insistence on being present behind the scenes at the show, causing them to axe her in favour of a new face.

Stephen’s brother Jeremiah Stansbury said: “A lot of people saw this coming. He’s a control freak, it’s a toxic relationship and it is a problem.

“It is sad she got axed. The world of showbusiness has a high threshold of debauchery — you can party and you can have sex with strippers and they will welcome you back.

“But there is certain level of toxicity that will not be tolerated. And once people see through Stephen’s good looks and new clothes they cut him off.”

WORLD EXCLUSIVE: Rita Ora snubs Simon Cowell’s X Factor judge job… Paloma Faith does too
RITA ORA will snub Simon Cowell’s offer to become an X Factor judge for a second year in a row – this time to crack America.

The Voice UK coach is Cowell’s top choice to replace Mel B who faces the axe.

But the I Will Never Let You Down singer, 24, is set to shun the music mogul again in the hope of joining the US version of The Voice.

The Daily Star Sunday can also reveal X Factor boss Cowell, 55, faces a double blow as his second choice Paloma Faith is also likely to turn down a big-bucks offer.

This year’s Best Female BRIT winner fears joining the judging panel will affect her credibility.

A music insider revealed: “Simon is desperate to get Rita or Paloma on to the judging panel but it looks like he will be doubly disappointed.

“Rita’s second album has already been pushed back almost a year and she wants to concentrate on promoting her record, especially in the US where she is still trying to crack the market.

“She knows a permanent role on the X Factor will be too big a commitment back home and stop her international music ambitions.”
