One Direction Working On Mysterious New Tunes
‘They didn’t say what the new music is for,’ Take Me Home producer Julian Bunetta tells MTV News of 1D’s new music.
One Direction may already have a number of commitments on their busy schedule, but the fivesome can’t seem to stay out of the recording studio. And with a new tour and a summer 3-D blockbuster on the horizon, there are certainly projects that they could be cooking up.

“I was just with them last week in London — hanging out, working on a few new things. So that’ll be fun,” producer Julian Bunetta teased to MTV News last week. “I can’t really say, but it’s gonna be pretty cool. I mean it’s just… I mean obviously we’re working on new music but they didn’t say what the new music is for. It might be for nothing. It might only be for my ears … or, it might be something that gets put out for the world to hear. I could just rent my ears out,” he joked.

One Direction must know they’re terrible, says Jake Bugg
Jake Bugg has said that One Direction must know that they are “terrible”.

The singer-songwriter was asked about people calling the former X Factor boyband ‘rock stars’ because of their after-show antics.

“Who the f**k is saying that?” Bugg asked ShortList.

“Oh, I’m pretty sure they have a good laugh. But it’s easy to, isn’t it? When you don’t have to write any songs.

“People [call them the new Beatles] because they broke America, but that don’t mean a thing.”

He added: “I mean, [One Direction] must know that they’re terrible.

One Direction stars respond to Jake Bugg jibes
One Direction stars Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson have responded to repeated jibes from singer-songwriter Jake Bugg.

“Calling them the new rock stars is a ridiculous statement. And people should stop making it,” Bugg had said of the former X Factor group.

“Really buggs me that artists we’re fans of ,flip on us in the press !” Horan replied on Twitter.

Tomlinson added soon after: “Hi @JakeBugg do you think slagging off boy bands makes you more indie?”

Louis Walsh goes bananas…
X FACTOR judge Louis Walsh plays the fool in a daft sketch for Ant And Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway tonight.

The Irishman has to pretend to show some painters and decorators around his “home” while the Geordie duo tell him what to say and do.

The pair roar with laughter as Louis shows the tradesmen a room plastered with pictures of himself and says: “I like to sit here and look at myself. I say, ‘I’ve made it, I’ve really made it’.”

He also tells them that he likes to sit in the fridge to “cool down” after a hard day of judging on The X Factor.

And at one point, Louis clutches a banana and pretends to speak to former judge Dannii Minogue.
