And if the title track Salute is anything to go by, the girl band aren’t going to disappoint when it comes to their second offering.
Available to listen to exclusively on the MailOnline, ahead of the album’s release on November 11, the track is a call to ladies around the world to join their army, very much in the style of Destiny’s Child.

Following the Neptunes-influenced current single, Little Mix have turned their attention to Timbaland on this new album track
A few weeks ago a girlband called Miss Dynamix were booted off The X Factor to the general surprise of no one other than Simon Cowell. Originally three solo acts, they’d been fused together in the hope of manufacturing genuine charisma but it didn’t really work, so off they went. In 2011, the same formula was used to create Little Mix, who went on to win thanks to the fact that they seemed to get on, looked like they didn’t share one personality between them and could hold their own vocally. Since then they’ve had a couple of UK number 1 singles, released the amazing DNA and had a top 5 album in America, the latter feat breaking a slightly convoluted-sounding chart record previously held by the Spice Girls.

More than fair-weather friends! Little Mix brave the rain after performing on The X Factor to head out on the town
Jade Thirlwall had to deal with more than her fair share of the elements on Sunday.
First, the Little Mix star saw her skirt blow up to expose her knickers at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, then she was met by the torrential rain after the band’s X Factor performance.
But like Fanny Brice, Thirlwall and her bandmates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson weren’t going to let anything rain on their parade.

They didn’t want to be seen on their way to Celebrity Juice, but after the show Little Mix were more than happy to share a smile.
Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock wore their best smiles as they made their way out of Riverside Studios, showing off their stylish outfits on the way.
But hours earlier it was a different story, as the girls all covered their faces with hoods, scarves and sunglasses as they arrived to take part in the ITV2 comedy panel show.

They’ve just completed a worldwide sell-out tour but even boy band, One Direction seemed surprised by the homecoming they received when they touched down at London’s Heathrow airport on Monday.
The boys flew home from Tokyo where they wrapped up months of global shows for their Take Me Home 2013 tour and no doubt they were pleased to get back home to see their families.
It’s been a busy time for 1D. Having kicked off the tour in the UK in February, the group played a huge 61 dates in Europe, 41 in North America, 25 in Australia and two in Asia.

X Factor hopeful Sam Callahan has broken show’s strict rules by selling his own merchandise.
The 19-year-old wannabe set up his own online shop, which sells mugs, keyrings, T-shirts, and even baseball jackets with his name or face emblazoned across it, but the sneaky advertising campaign has angered ITV bosses.
One signed photograph, which shows Sam topless with a Union Jack flag draped over his shoulders, costs £12, while a bright pink T-shirt, which reads ‘Future Mrs Callahan’, is £20.

She sent Twitter into a frenzy on Saturday evening as she appeared in even higher spirits than usual leading many to speculate she may have turned to the bottle before the show.
But Nicole Scherzinger has denied she had been drinking before judging on the X Factor, with a spokesperson saying ‘she was just getting into disco spirit’.
According to The Sun however, the 35-year-old had held a party in her dressing room before things kicked off as she was joined by her family who had arrived from Hawaii.

And Nicole – wearing a black lace jumpsuit – was clearly in the loving mood as she gave Sharon a kiss goodbye as they headed home in the early hours.
