One Direction have been predicted to become the most successful band in the world with earnings of a billion dollars a year.

It is estimated the band will earn the record £611million amount during their upcoming Where We Are tour.

The 88-date tour will see the boys – Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan – become the first act to perform three consecutive nights at the 95,000-seat Rose Bowl stadium in California.

One Direction proved that if you don’t ask you don’t get this week, after Louis Tomlinson sent out a cheeky tweet to a London cab firm.

The boyband have ended up blagging free taxi rides for a whole year after using an Addison Lee car in their video for Midnight Memories.

The track has since amassed almost 14 million hits on YouTube, which hears the five-piece sing about squeezing all their mates into the back of one of the company’s cars.

Not content with gazing up at the beautiful blue skies and lounging by the pool, One Direction heart-throb Liam Payne found his own fun while on holiday at an undisclosed location.

The 20-year-old shared a photo of himself posing topless on Tuesday as he strode out of the pool while wearing a makeshift orange shell bikini.

Superstar Lady Gaga was quite taken with the image and wrote on Twitter: ‘You are a real life Botticelli Babe! Lookin good #Applause4Liam!!’

A source exclusively told MailOnline all the artwork the star bought was ‘love and sex related’ and was ‘probably to decorate his new home’.

Zayn Malik has tweeted his delight after his fiancée Perrie Edwards and her Little Mix bandmates topped the US iTunes album chart.

Heaping praise on the girlband, the One Direction heartthrob pleaded with his 11.9 million Twitter followers to keep their second studio record, Salute, at the top spot.

Zayn – who popped the question to the Geordie beauty in August 2013 – wrote alongside a link to purchase the album: ‘So proud of my baby !! Download the tune and keep it @ #1 !! :) xx.’

With a red checked shirt tied casually around her waist, the 22-year-old looked confident as she paraded around on stage with a number of hunky, vest-wearing dancers.

Joe McElderry was crowned inaugural winner of The Jump on Monday evening following a confident display that saw him easily beat fellow finalist Donal MacIntyre.

The final brought to an end what has proved to be a bumpy ride for celebrity contestants on the debut series of Channel 4’s new reality show.

The live final, which saw Joe and Donal compete in two separate jumps, was proceeded by what had been billed as the toughest test yet – a grueling Ski Cross.

X Factor winner Sam Bailey and Nicholas McDonald set for chart battle
Last year’s X Factor winner Sam Bailey and runner up Nicholas McDonald are both due to release their albums next month.

Nicholas will get a week’s head start on Sam with the teenager’s record out first on March 17.

Sam’s will follow seven days later on March 24 as both of their singles battle and albums in the charts.

The early release of both albums unsurprisingly means track-listings filled with plenty of covers.

X Factor USA has been cancelled.

Cowell, the creator of The X Factor, returns to the UK show after three years in America, where he developed the US version of the globally syndicated show – which FOX confirmed won’t return for a fourth season this year after it was first revealed by MailOnline.

Bosses at US network Fox decided to shelve the show after Cowell’s departure admitting, ‘There is no X Factor USA without Simon’.
