Olly Murs Named Radio Disney’s ‘Next Big Thing’.

Rebecca Ferguson “Get Happy” (Single Premiere)
British singer-songwriter and The X Factor runner-up Rebecca Ferguson is finally back to the music spotlight with brand new single “Get Happy“.

The track composed by Harold Arlen, with lyrics written by Ted Koehler, echoes themes of a Christian evangelical revivalist meeting song. It’s a classic track also recorded by Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, among others.

Jedward “Make Your Own Luck” (Video Premiere)
Irish pop duo Jedward, formed by idential twins John and Edward Grimes, is back with new single called “Make Your Own Luck“.

The song is confirmed as the third single taken from the duo’s upcoming fourth studio album “Free Spirit“, scheduled to be released on digital retailers sometime this year.

Olly Murs Named Radio Disney’s ‘Next Big Thing’
U.K. singer Olly Murs has been named Radio Disney’s “N.B.T.” (Next Big Thing), an initiative launched in 2010 to champion young recording artists and further their careers.

Murs will be featured in the shortform N.B.T. series, with cameras following him in the recording studio, on production of his music video and as he prepares for the upcoming U.S. release of his new album, Never Been Better, on March 10 and a world tour. The series airs on Radio Disney, Disney Channel and other platforms.

Lauren Platt: ‘A lot of people on the show don’t have the X Factor’
Towards the end of 2014, Lauren Platt dazzled millions with her weekly performances on The X Factor before she finished fourth in the competition.

The following weeks saw her work a gruelling schedule of live shows and personal appearances, before taking some well-earned time off over Christmas.

However, with The X Factor tour on the horizon, Lauren will be back in rehearsals to do it all over again, so Digital Spy caught up with the star to talk about the show and her future plans.

The 34-year-old singer famously had a fling with the posh beauty while they were competing on the ITV show, leading Chloe to be dumped by her then-boyfriend, Craig Wiffen.
