Do you live near an X Factor audition city? Would you like to attend a taping?  Studio tickets are available now through OnCameraAudiences.

X Factor will begin judges’ round auditions in front of a live audience on May 8 in Los Angeles, moving on to Chicago on May 19, New Jersey on June 8,  Miami on June 14, Dallas on June 21 and Seattle on June 28.

Four tapings spread out over 2 days are scheduled in each city.   Check out the entire schedule after the jump.

Now we know. Simon Cowell’s drop-dead deadline for getting his on-air cast in place is May 8! Unless he decides to fill the two seats next to him and L. A. Reid with guest judges…

Thanks @Blkeener

I want to go to the Los Angeles taping with my kids but it says the age minimum is 16. That seems odd that you have to be 16 to sit in the audience, but having said that, I think you have to be at least 14 or 15 to go to Jay Leno. C’est la vie.

Ohhh thanks! I just signed up for the Dallas taping! :)

undercooked, maybe you should call them. The Idol tickets always say 14 and everytime I’ve been there are really young kids there.
I just got X-Factor tickets for the 1:00 taping on May 9th. I started to put in for Sunday, May 8th, then I remembered that was Mother’s Day.

ETA: BTW, it says on the ticket voucher that the taping will last 4-5 hours! Yikes!

Wow, that is long. I guess that is why they have the no little kid rule. But I will go ahead and email them. It might be a fun thing to do. Thanks :)

Thanks for the link MJ. I would love to see Sir Simon in person. :)

Well maybe your kids look 16. I have a 16 year old that looks 12. Maybe that works in reverse????

Reserved my 5/8 tickets earlier today!

Hope they’ll find talented contestants w/ big personality.

Yikes, the closest taping venue for me is LA, and it’s an 8hr drive from home! Soo close, yet soo far. Waaah!

  • Reflections On Life

they’ve already got a waitlist for the seattle-area tapings. you get on the waitlist and they’ll notify you if more tickets become available. yikes! maybe our venue is smaller than that of other cities??

The easiest 3rd judge would be Paula, and Simon keeps saying he loves Paula….makes you wonder doesn’t he? And probably the hold up is the $$$. If AI is paying their judges $15Mil (allegedly), then how much would the 3rd judge require?

  • n3mover

I like the idea of guest judges, but didn’t Simon say, while still on AI, that he didn’t like them? I hope he has guest judges, it adds more insight into the different performances. With the same judges week after week you know what they are going to say before they say it.
