After tough deliberation in the “Judges’ Homes” round of THE X FACTOR, Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, L.A. Reid, and Britney Spears each revealed the four acts in their categories that will continue in the competition. All 16 acts will perform on a special live two-and-a-half hour event, hosted by Khloé Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez, on Thursday, Nov. 1 (8:00-10:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed).  THE X FACTOR live shows continue on a special night on Sunday, Nov. 4 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) with additional performances and the announcement of the Season Two finalists.

The eliminated acts include Reed Deming and James Tanner from the Teens category; Jillian Jensen and Nick Youngerman from Young Adults; Daryl Black and Tara Simon from Over 25s; and Dope Crisis and Playback from Groups.

On Wednesday, Nov. 7 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the top finalists will perform not only for the judges, but for America’s votes, when the voting lines open immediately after the show. Find out who will be the first to be eliminated by America’s votes on Thursday, Nov. 8(8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed).

    Yes, he is such a nice guy and really has a great potential, too. I think that the kids’ group is nearly unfairly tough, and that if it would be possible, they all should be put through to top 12. Arin is really one of the contestants you care about.

    I think all the make overs are great. Cee Cee looks very beautiful platinum it made her stand out more. Oh Pagie i’m seeing a personality there she seems to like some crazy stuff. Didn’t see that one, the gold gilded chest and face piece is out of this world. Now i’m seeing her as a cross between Lady Gaga due to the outfit and Rihanna due to the vocal style. Don’t know if she was trying something daring just this once or she’s totally down w/ it. Maybe a bit of both she did come into the competition w/ a partially shaved head but the gold armor thing is just wild.  I mean pushing boundaries to the limit. It’s kind of cool just wish it was more flattering. I think it would of worked better w/ pants. Anywho some of the best make-overs i’ve seen for any show.

    I think it’s so stupid to have fake followers. It’s stupid b/c if a fan sees the contestant they like has fewer followers they’ll think they have to vote extra hard to compensate for the fact. And if a fan sees their favorite has lots of fans they might slack off a bit.

    Comparing the Lylas Judges House You Tube views to the other groups is a little deceiving.  It was the Lylas first performance ever so naturally there was some curiosity.  Emblem 3′s first performance has 1.9 million hits.  Admittedly Carly Rose and Beatrice are killing everybody elses views for every performance.

    I don’t get the uber love of Lylas. I still gotta see some chemistry, vocal dynamics and personality from them.

    So for me the best group is Lyric 145. I believe them and i’m entertained. They just worked.

    As for amount of views perception is skewed a bit b/c even though you have first time auditions for other contestants that could have close or
    more views than Lylas it took them much longer to reach that number. I
    think what got Lylas that number of views was the positive public response on twitter and such. The same happened for Emblem3 though at a slower rate. Their first audition was really good and showed potential. I was even digging them but i’ve quickly fallen out of love/like w/ them b/c they’re cocky and haven’t lived up to their first audition. It appears they have peaked.

    How do you know David’s followers are fake? I think he had about 500k more or less before XF, and he already had a verified acct. He’s probably the most experienced one in terms of touring so its possible he built a fanbase. I wouldn’t be surprised if he consided the Voice as well.
