Two days in Greensboro, NC auditioning hopefuls, and the X Factor judges–Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Simon Cowell and LA Reid– already participated in a walk-out and a blackout!

Yesterday, a storm blew through the city, cutting the lights in the Greensboro Coliseum. Supposedly, it freaked out the judges who quickly left to hide out in their dressing rooms. But that report is likely TMZ exaggerating. I heard that the power was only out for 15 minutes, after which the auditions resumed.

Also, THR reports that the judges “stormed” out of an audition after a hopeful “butchered” the Britney Spears hit, “Crazy”. But if you listen to the audio below, it doesn’t seem that big of a deal.  The audience seemed to LOVE the pitch challenged hopeful, while the “walkout” only seemed to last a minute or two.

Plus, listen to a young teen Idol type sweetly sing 1D’s “You Don’t Know You’re Beautiful” and “Wanted” by Hunter Hays (LA had never heard it).  Britney and Demi thought he was adorable.
