X Factor 2 alums, Emblem3 just wrapped up 3 concert dates on the West Coast and are now heading East for 5 more dates in Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Freehold, NJ and New York City. Check out their schedule HERE.
Check out a couple of songs from their concert at the Roxy in Los Angeles “Chloe” is supposedly the guys’ first single. Pretty poppy, isn’t it? I didn’t expect Simon to allow the band to go back to their edgier, pre-X Factor sound. The good news is that they do have commercial appeal. I would not be surprised if they (and maybe Fifth Harmony) were the first X Factor US acts to break out.
Simon Cowell appears to be bullish the band he mentored through weeks of competition on X Factor 2 last fall. Ultimately, his charges, placed 4th in the competition. The band– Wesley Stromberg, Keaton Stromberg and Drew Pearson–recently signed a record contract with Columbia and Simon’s company SYCO.
Savan Kotecha is set to produce the record that will feature collaborations with Benji and Joel Madden (Good Charlotte), Jack Antonoff (fun.), Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub (One Direction, Nicki Minaj), Peter Svensson (The Cardigans), John Feldman (Gold Finger), and Kool Kojak (Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj).
