THE X FACTOR: TOP 17. Stacy Francis. Age: 42. Hometown: Brooklyn, NY. Currently Resides: Los Angeles, CA. CR: Aldo Rossi / FOX. X Factor contestant, Stacy Francis, isn’t shedding any tears over the ouster of her former mentor, Nicole Scherzinger, from Simon Cowell’s singing competition. Stacy tells EOnline:

“Listen, Nicole isn’t a bad person but I don’t think she was ever committed enough,” Francis tells me exclusively. “She didn’t have her head in the game.”

Francis said Scherzinger was MIA more than she should have been. When she was there, Francis said, she felt Scherzinger’s ego could get in the way. “At one point, she banned Simon from my rehearsals,” Francis claims. “He wanted to help and he knew what he was doing. It became about Nicole’s ego instead of me winning the $5 million.”

Stacy has kind words for Paula Abdul:

“She was there six days a week,” she said. “She gave her time and her commitment.”

The former American Idol judge was a much needed mother figure, who was “loving and caring. X Factor is tough. It’s a tough show to be on,” Francis said.

If Stacy thinks she didn’t win X Factor because Nicole wasn’t a good mentor, she’s completely delusional.

Stacy gave an honest answer.  It may be off-base, but it’s her opinion and she has the right to express it, like we have the right to analyze it.

I’m sorry but Stacy Francis is god damn annoying.  She blocked me on twitter because i kept telling her she needed to stop complaining so much.  She acts like a 10 year old.  like grow up.  Sorry if this offends people, but she just drives me nuts.

I believe that Nicole was not around much. I also believe that had she been there all day, every day, Stacey still didn’t have a ghost of a chance winning. I believe that Stacey has no clue this is true.

Stacy Francis always bothered me.  What with her tear-stained, whoa-is-me act and her forced, go-for-broke performances she wore me out within the first few week she was on.  And then she made the mistake that time of combing her hair back!  I know it’s not nice to pick on how someone looks, but, my goodness, that forehead went on forever, didn’t it?  LOL.

    Stacy also talked to The Hollywood Reporter, and had this to say about Melanie,  LA Reid, and Simon;

As for Jones, Francis says she thought, “he did a great job,” and she commended Abdul on her commitment to the groups, regularly spending six days a week working with the contestants. L.A. Reid, on the other hand… “L.A., like most record executives, they push for 19-year-olds or 14-year-olds, where Simon Cowell is the guy who pushes for the 40- or the 60-year-old, which is why he brought the show to this country,” she says. “I love Melanie Amaro, but that kind of contestant is anAmerican Idol winner. With X Factor, I was hoping it would be somebody that couldn’t win American Idol. Either it was Rachel Crow or Astro or me or Leroy Bell – an outcome that wasn’t expected.”

She’s delusional if she really thinks that Simon would help someone who is 40 or 60 years old.

Wow! Stacy seems to have made a post-X-Factor career of voicing her opinions on the show to the press. She must be the go-to contestant, always ready with a negative (not to mention delusional) quote.  I don’t think that Nicole was a good fit for X-Factor, but let’s get real.  She managed to bring one of her contestants all the way to second place.  Geesh, Stacy!

I think the whole thing is a scam, do they really get 5 mil or are they billed for every little thing including the air they breathe and it comes out of the 5 mil bankroll?

Stacy, you just keep telling yourself that the reason you lost was because Simon wasn’t your mentor.

  • Anonymous

Not really, look what he’s done for Susan Boyle and she was nearing 50.

I don’t look at that situation as Simon helping her have a career in music.  I know that she’s sold a lot of records, but Simon has done more to promote her (heavily embellished) backstory than her music.

It wasn’t your place to tell her that, IMO.  She doesn’t know you.  I would have blocked you, too. Some random person telling me what to do? No, thanks.

If you don’t like her, YOU stop following her.

Stacy, you are the one with the huge ego. Certainly you must have watched your performances from XFactor by now and therefore you should realize you were just not very good.  Over singing is a deal breaker.
