Back in June, we reported on a Disney movie that X Factor season 1 alum, Astro was cast in. According to sources connected to the film, working title, “Echo,” Astro played a character named Tuck in what was described as a “Wolf Adventure.”
Now the project has a title Earth to Echo, and a release date, April 25, 2014. And the new trailer, which has definite shades of E.T. going on. Three friends (including Astro’s character) find a mysterious “thing” blinking on the ground. Could it be some sort of extraterrestrial wolf? Or maybe it doesn’t have anything to do with a wolf at all.
The IMDB description reads, “A group of friends investigate a series of bizarre text messages they receive after a construction project begins in their neighborhood.”
Welp. I’m confused. We’ll have to wait until the promo ramps up to find out what’s going on.
