After last night’s dubious boys results in the X Factor 4 chair challenge, Simon Cowell took to twitter to make known that he did not agree with judge Paulina Rubio’s choices. He’s working on putting together a fan-determined wild card pick. Tonight, Simon’s groups will be revealed to complete the Top 16
I’m not convinced that last night’s boys results mattered. It’s clear that a boy is not meant to win X Factor. The singers ranged from mediocre to awful. When the judges praised a terribly off-key performance from Josh Levi, I figured the fix was in. Or I had entered an alternate universe. Another moment that seemed scripted was Paula’s lame switcheroo. Eliminating the charisma-free Tim Olstad, only to bring him back after the commercial break smelled like a set up to me.
Simon probably has to work out the details with FOX first, but stay tuned for your opportunity to make things right. Or something.
You never let great talent go.

Pauline’s top 4 would not have been my top 4

Should we have a wild card. Let the public pick. What do you think?

If we did this. You guys not us would make the decision. Will keep you posted. I would love it to happen.

I will do my best to make it happen. And you will choose the person or group you want as your wild card pick.

Reading your comments tonight made me realise we should do this. It seems like the fairest thing to do.

Oh dear
During one performance tonight one of my new puppies ran out of my bedroom and wouldn’t come back until I turned the sound off.

Tomorrow night it all gets sorted. I think you will enjoy the show. Thanks for all your comments. Both the bad and the good.
