I have a feeling that it will come down to Britney and Simon this season. I thought that Demi actually had one of the stronger groups at the beginning, but now I’m not sure. LA’s obvious disdain for his group will probably blow up into something awful.

Jillian, Tait, and the Lylas are my favorites so far.  Interesting that they gave the baby voiced Britney the babies.  Actually, most of them sound older than she does.  Get Cece off my screen!  Simon has got to so a better job of “acting” surprised.  Paige and Willie are almost as obnoxious as Cece.  Have to rewatch Beatrice and Carly Rose.  Don’t remember them at all.  Feel that there is an overreliance on looks as opposed to voice with most of the groups.

I hope any category wins except for Britney’s.

I can’t help but reel at the idea of a 13 year old winning 5 million dollars, that just doesn’t sit right with me, even if the parent’s gain charge over the money.

I’d rather have Simon or Demi win, because lets face it, the overs sure as hell won’t win with LA’s attitude

  • sumidol

CeCe or Vino for the win please? :)

I can’t believe they are going to have a live episode on a Sunday.  Sundays have become brutal with competition now that you have The Good Wife vs Revenge vs Dexter vs The Walking Dead and then Emmy winner Homeland following Dexter.

Points for mentioning the amazing walking dead <3

I want CeCe to go far because she’ll annoy a lot of people and it’s gonna be fun. Plus, she’s good.

I have no real favorites yet. I think that group of girls (LYLAS) can go very far and give some real money to Simon – probably enough to compensate the cut he’ll have on his salary for XF S3.

You guys need to remember that they win a $5 million dollar recording contract, not $5 million dollars outright.  The money goes to recording and marketing their music, I’m sure they have an amount set apart for personal use.

  • giled

It IS 5 million dollars outright (paid over 5 years) unless they changed it this year. If it were a $5 million recording contract, Melanie Amaro would be getting a hell of a lot more promo than she has received LOL

Here’s a video where Simon clarifies the prize in an interview after last year’s finale. He says even if the winner “doesn’t sell a single record, they keep 5 million dollars”
