    Since I could care less about X-Factor and have never watched it I can say in all honesty that if I didn’t come to this site, occasionally now, that I wouldn’t have a clue that it was even on my TV and who any of the performers are.  After being wrapped up in Idol for years…now that I have taken a step back…I am very aware that only a handful of peeps really care about these shows or the “winners”.  Guess I’ve moved outside of the bubble…and it feels pretty good.

    I still think Tate will win, although I think he has zero star quality.  I’m sticking with my opinion that talented as she is (and she is incredibly talented), Carly is just too young at the moment to make an impact anywhere other than Disney or Nick — and I hope she gets some opportunities like that and then comes out swinging in her late teens (kinda like Demi’s career). The most intriguing question is whether Simon will dump Emblem 3 for 5th Harmony and make them his post season pets.  I don’t think America needs an “american 1D”….1D is everywhere..and the wanted is still around even tho their (IMO) excellent recent single didn’t do much…the market usually can’t bear more than 2 big boy bands at a time.  But Simon is right that there is a gap in the market for a girl group.  If I was a 8-12 year old girl I’d be loving 5th H …they’re pretty, have great hair, seem to all be super BFFs, lol.  I think he might have better luck with them than with Emblem 3.

    Did you see the young girls on last years XF?  They certainly were not gracious losers, they were having complete melt downs.  Carly will have one, FH will cry a lot!:(

    i see it as completely fair that 5H sang Anything Could Happen again, it was fav performance of the season. Plus they used a different arrangement and used a different verse.

    If he win, that’s becasue America voted for him. If viewers are not allowed to vote, then you say the judges are biased toward one singer over the others… such double-edge sword…

    Carly is a talent no doubt.. But is there a market with her age group for old school ballads and no up tempo fun pop songs

    I felt that Carly was shafted. I believe the girl being only 13 has amazing talent. Who ever allowed LeAnn Rimes on that stage should be fired. She was an embarrassment and destroyed that duet. I dont know what she was on but she had to hang onto Carly to actually stand up. Its a shame If this is Simons way of taking the spotlight away from Carly then I’m done watching.. Tate probably will win because of his sob story’s, and 5th Harmony, well they cant be taken seriously. This show is suppose to be on talent.. not sob stories , Carly has always acted like a professional and way mature beyond her years. She has been consistent and because of one bad duet performance because of Rimes she might loose. I hope she does win because she in my eyes is the true X-Factor and yes I would buy her  CD’s

    If Carly losses or even comes in third, the leanne duet is to blame. She didn’t sound good at all & I wonder if any backlash. I wish they’d be doing duets with major current stars. Demi, LeAnn, LittleBigDown were huge letdowns. HUGE!
    I wish they’d release the final votes afterward but they won’t

    And notice how XF had never released how many votes they get in. Wonder if Mario will say this is there highest total ever.. And if only 1-2% separate the top 2…I think the teens may have voted crazy for 5th after the push by demi + simon

    I believe that Carly was shafted tonight by LeAnn Rimes. If this is Simons way of taking her down because he knows she has the X_Factor then I’m done. Dont tell me that the stage crew and Simon didnt know how LeAnn was. Whoever made the decision to have her go on SHOULD BE FIRED. She was an embarrassment and had to be on something. If this duet cost Carly the title then I’m done. I’m sure Simon knew that Rimes wasnt right and yet allowed her to destroy Carly’s chances. Its a shame . Tate is good and yes might win not because hes can sing which by the way he sounds alot like Garth Brooks, but because of his sob stories. 5th Harmony, Simons group.. lol well You have to be kidding  who would ever take them seriously. Simon has always known that Carly has the X_Factor . She has been consistent, very professional and handle every performance amazingly. She is amazingly talented and SHOULD be the winner. Just take a look at Britney’s face during the duet, even she couldn’t believe what was happening.Oh well its up to the voter’s but no matter what Carly will be the winner because she truely represents the X-Factor

     Really? Correctly predicting 9 out of 9 Finals doesn’t give Dial Idol enough credibility. Yes they do allow for margins, and their sample may or may not be small(I think you’re reading the geopredictions wrong), but either way they have a 100% success rate when it comes to getting the order right.  You can’t discredit that level of success no matter which way you try to spin it.

    I’m sorry but I’m not going to credit dial idol for predicting both finalists to finish 1st or 2nd when they’re only 2 contestants left. So no, they are not 100%.
    Now take a look at the geopredictions & scroll over the states & notice the raw numbers, a couple examples:

    Florida: 456 for Tate; 0 for everybody else (probably one voter)
    Texas: 498 for Carly; 0 for everybody else (probably one voter)

    Dial Idol Predictions was good back in the day but now are nothing more than guesses less accurate than the average internet poll
