Wil.i.am Tapped To Mentor With Britney Spears on X Factor

Wil.i.am will help Britney Spears mentor the 17-24 year olds during her judges’ houses round on X Factor 2:

The pop princess is about to get some help from a Black Eyed Pea! Sources confirm to TV Guide Magazine that singer and record producer will.i.am will join new X Factor judge Britney Spears as a mentor for her crop of contestants during the Judge’s Home round on the upcoming second season of Fox’s reality singing competition. Spears and will.i.am recently collaborated on a track entitled “Sexy Sexy” for his new solo album #willpower, due out Oct. 15.

Other mentors include Justin Bieber, who assisted L.A. Reid with the Over 25s, Nick Jonas who worked with Demi Lovato to help the 12-16 year olds and Marc Anthony who joined Simon Cowell to mentor The Groups.

    Good old Will.i.am. He’s always up for mentoring on a singing competition show. I have visions of him hanging out near the backstage door hoping to get the gig.

    At least  he’s not snobby about these shows. And he does have experience at the job.

    Will.I.am is Cheryl Cole’s manager. So, I guess he got over the fact that she was fired from XF USA?

    I’m starting to think Demi was the ones with 17 to 24 and Britney got 12 to 16s. We’ll see in a month, I guess.

    I’m surprised Simon let him on. He bashed X-Factor extensively while doing The Voice UK.

    Well, yeah. Will.i.am is a coach on The Voice UK. He used to guest mentor on X Factor UK with Cheryl Cole. He often appears on American Idol. And Now X Factor USA. When you need a guest mentor, you hire will.i.am.

    With Cheryl joining XFUK as Gary Barlows mentor it appears the beef is over. Its good to see.

    Will.I.Am will be good. He’s never shy of his opinion.

     Well, I’m hoping they convince Cheryl to snatch Nicole Scherzinger’s job next year. Cheryl is touring this fall and she is releasing some new music with Girls Aloud. Maybe GA will perform on the X Factor this fall.
