Nice to see Cook’s TQN on itunes albums.  I much prefer the acoustic versions.  He has such a lovely voice which is overwhelmed by the production on TLM at times.

    Go Kris !
Thanks everybody especially tripp and girlygirltoo who keep posting Kris’ stuff and the numbers for us ( me !) who has no clue on how to get it.
And everybody, feel free to interpret the meaning of the numbers /bullets/ spins or me. :)

girlygirltoo: So he’ll get 1 auto add from that station in Houston. Wonder if he’ll
get a bunch of manual adds? Have you heard anything about what radio
    thinks about this song?

I’m sure WTT will pull in a respectable number of 1st week manual adds. But, if Mercury Nashville was thinking AI performance+ACM performance+ACM Top New Artist win+album sales boost+finally an uptempo single would mean radio would get on board quicker then I don’t see that materializing out of the gate. The reaction to Scotty winning that fan-voted ACM was muted at best, and programmers seem like they’re still waiting to be convinced.

I’ll be honest and say I haven’t been paying as close attention this week to the country chart because the Kenny/Tim sh**show was bound to mess everything up. That waste of space landed at #17 MB. Billboard’s harder to predict ever since the MB panel change & I’m not sure the Real Time Tracker update that puts them at around 20 million AIs is accurate. If it is then a debut at #10 is still possible, if not it’ll be closer to #14. But, for those of you waiting for the comedic portion of this farce, look out for their MB update on Tuesday when the hourly spins from the Clear Channel deal drop out.

Carrie’s GG has obviously moved up a spot to #9 MB and it’ll probably move up 2 spots to #8 on Billboard since the bottom’s totally fallen out from under Taylor’s Ours.

George Strait going recurrent this afternoon will move CaseyJ back up to #22 MB, Lauren back up to #31 MB, and Kelly up to #45 MB (new peak). Billboard’s the chart that’s the truer indicator of trends though. My guess (just a guess) is LDCIAN will have a smallish AI gain in the 200k AI range and hold at #21. IF Billboard sends Taylor’s song recurrent with Montgomery Gentry then CaseyJ actually makes t20 Billboard this week which would be awesome especially considering Kenny/Tim’s stunt.

Lauren’s GP has held up decently considering the loss of countdown spins. It’s moved back ahead of Love & Theft at MB and should stay ahead of them at BB. I expect GP to hold at #30 BB.

Kelly’s MKIA “country” version has had a strong week compared to everybody around it on the charts, including Chris Young’s Neon (unfortunately) and Hunter Hayes’s Wanted. So, MKIA should come in around #40 at Billboard.

Crooks and Chase played Georgia Peaches as an “jukebox extra” this weekend– which sounds like another way labels work the countdowns to keep the spins they need for a song.  This may have made up for some of her losses from dropping from the top 30 countdowns.

Eh, unless you know for sure that all of Haley’s spins are from monitored stations you cannot use the Spincrease Chart as much more than a guide to her spin count and bullet.

I see the bullets listed for TVOL on both the Spincrease Chart and the overall HAC chart do match, but that is quite unusual because the Spincrease Chart covers all stations, not just monitored.

I left a post in Friday’s number’s thread, I believe, detailing this with examples.

Also, recurrents are never removed until Sunday afternoon – and remember they changed the recurrent rules last week.

Does anyone know if this morning’s HAC chart has removed the recurrents? There aren’t a lot of songs on the chart with negative bullets, but I was wondering if Kris could move up a spot or two today, or whether he’ll remain at #50.

Recurrents are removed in the afternoon, when they release the official chart for the week.  It’s not showing up on All Access yet, but this chart shows that one song went recurrent in the top 20. http://www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/insideradio/charts.asp?dpt=n&format=3&showyear=y .  Both LMB and BTIKM moved up one spot. So, TVOL should officially enter the top 50 at #49.

I just saw the published chart — Haley does have 142 spins for this recording period. all of her spins must have been from monitored stations

yeah, Coldplay went recurrent. So every song that was below Coldplay (which was at #12) on this morning’s chart moved up one spot on the published one:

Positions for Idols on this week’s Published HAC chart:

    #1     Kelly Clarkson – Stronger
    #17   Adam Lambert – BTIKM
    #33   James Durbin – LMB
#38   Daughtry – Outta My Head
#41   Carrie Underwood – Good Girl
#49   Kris Allen – The Vision Of Love
