Nice to see Survivor still winning it’s time slot.

Glee didn’t drop as bad as I thought. I honestly thought it would of been like the numbers for Dynamic Duets because there was a thing going around tumblr where ‘Brittana fans’ were going to boycott the episode for some reason. I have no clue. I’ve honestly lost respect for the Brittana fandom. I am gonna admit there are few nice ones out there.

How did FOX win the night on Wed?  CBS had a better rating and viewership.

  • idolgleek92

Glee’s got a solid steady fanbase there. Dynamic Duets was so bad because it was on Thanksgiving, no other reason. Otherwise they’ve been pulling in 5-6 million every episode, so I’m glad it’s staying steady.

Whatever happened to the 20M viewers Simon claimed XF would get?  These days, he’s having a long, hard climb to reach the middle.

Maybe Xfactor needs a couple of these guys as judges.

‘Duck Dynasty’ finale shatters records, tops broadcast

“In the final national ratings, which were just released this morning by
Nielsen, Duck Dynasty delivered 6.5 million viewers — the cable
network’s top telecast ever. The swampy docu-series also set a record among
adults 18-49, earning a 3.0 rating in the valuable demo — topping shows like
CBS’ Survivor, ABC’s Nashville and Fox’s The X-Factor, while matching CBS’ Criminal Minds (ABC’s Modern Family was a repeat, which helped). That also means Duck Dynasty won its 10 p.m. time period outright.”

The Grammy Awards nomination show only drew a 1.5 among the key demo, so that brought down the ratings for the whole night.

The “I’m done with this show FOREVAH” crowd rarely are. That’s certainly something I’ve learned from running an entertainment blog these last few years. lol.

  • fantoo1

Wow a 12 year old show beat The X Factor.

  • girlygirltoo

I think Survivor has beaten XF every week. This isn’t a 1-time thing.

Seems like BBT is only show drawing any kind of ratings on these nights, though. (What does Modern Family draw when it isn’t in repeats)?

Dynamic Duets got bad ratings because it was so silly, as to be embarrassing, besides being on Thanksgiving.

  • idolgleek92

Not really. Most casual fans have no idea what the episode will be about ahead of time anyway. Also, that episode got great reviews and a lot of Glee’s online fandom loved it. Thanksgiving would’ve doomed any episode, even the very best…it’s the reason scripted shows don’t normally air then.

Simon may have boasted that the X-Factor has already been renewed for next season, but as the ratings continue to decline this year, they will have to offer ads at an even lower price. Looks like the recruiting of Demi and Britney didn’t raise the ratings in the 18-49 at all.

It’s so funny how XF-UK, aired in a country with 1/5 of the american population, on the season that has the worst ratings, still has more viewers than XF-USA.
