Wednesday Ratings: SYTYCD and America’s Got Talent Both Dip

FOX  was the number one network among adults 18-49, but CBS led with total viewers.  On FOX, So You Think You Can Dance earned a 1.8 rating, down two-tenths from last week’s 2.0 adults 18-49 rating. On NBC, America’s Got Talent scored a season-low 1.9 rating, down from last week’s 2.0 adults 18-49 rating.

So You Think You Can Dance ratings continue to fall. America’s Got Talent hits a series low.

    I don’t get why SYTYCD isn’t more popular.  I have no artistic ability, music or dance wise, but it makes me adore it even more.  The whole premise of SYTYCD is brilliant IMO, and they mix up the judges fairly frequently which helps keep it fresh, and the contestants are so talented.  It’s a bit of pleasant fantasy for me for two hours on a Wednesday night, and it will be very hard to take if they cancel it.  Are we so obsessed with technology that we can’t enjoy a bit of old fashioned creative beauty once a week in the Summer?

    America’s Got Talent and Big Brother were each adjusted up a tenth among adults 18-49 versus Wednesday’s preliminary ratings.
