Tracy Moran gave his first interview this morning since the devastating 2014 car crash that took the life of his friend and left him in a coma.
The SNL and 30 Rock star told the Today show with Matt Lauer the heartbreaking story of his recovery. He doesn’t remember the accident, and only learned, after waking up from a two week coma, that his friend, fellow comedian, James McNair was killed.
After, he went to youtube and watched footage of the accident, and video of McNair’s funeral.
Tracy still experiences headaches, nosebleeds and memory loss and is not yet ready to get back to performing. “I’m not 100 percent yet. And when I’m there, you’ll know it. I’ll get back to making you laugh, I promise you.”
There was some misunderstanding at the beginning, but Tracy assures that Wal-mart has financially stepped up to the plate and taken full responsibility for the speeding truck driver who plowed into his limo. Walmart settled the comedian’s lawsuit last week.
