Y’know, I think Come Back to Me is a MUCH better song than Light On. It should’ve been the first single.

I’m happy to see single #2 getting decent promotion. I still can’t believe LO even got to #20 on CHR. Hopefully this song can at least do that well or slightly better.

I just heard “Come Back To Me” while I was at dinner at an Applebee’s in suburban Philly. I heard “Light On” at the same restaurant shortly after it was released last fall, well before it was getting a lot of radio play. I don’t know if it was Sirius or what, but it had a nice mix of stuff.

Is Lady Gaga performing live?

Yep. Adam Lambert is definitely TCO.

1. The judges are de-pimping Danny Gokey.

2. Simon scolded him after RoF to remind him of the rules o’ the game and Adam responded smartly this week as Simon intended.

3. Glam rocker Lady GaGa is performing on AI next week.

TCO has never been my top favorite since Kelly became TCO after Tamyra Gray was eliminated during top 4 week of season one — unless you count the audition weeks before the AI6 contest started when Chris Sligh was the early TCO.

I hope TIIC don’t ruin it for me, but I know they can’t seem to help themselves.

Jolene – I heard it tonight too on the San Diego station (Sophie’s Challenge) and I think the station pitched the tempo up a percent or two. I didn’t time it, but it sounded just slightly faster and I agree that it worked really well for the song. I’m going to try to catch it and time it the next time they do the challenge (Monday night I think?) to see for sure. But Sophie is an HAC station, so I’m sure if they are speeding it up then a lot of CHR stations will as well.

I flove Adam, but DC is just so effin ¨’ special to me. Him and his music…can ¨’t get enough. Can ¨’t wait to see the vids MJ puts up, but better yet, 3 weeks later and that episode will air here and I can see him on my big ass TV screen.

For the record, if we’re talking the ever evolving do o’ Cook, I like the longish hair he’s sportin now. I was one of the few people who thought the Little Sparrow makeover went a bit too far in the other direction. This one is a happy medium between grunge David and button downed GQ David.

Here’s Straight Ahead from last night. Apart from just looking really good, he seems (the whole band does really) incredibly intense during this one. And it sounded like people were singing along – to a pre-Idol song. He must be loving that.

I’m pretty sure this results is going to redeem all the cheese-filled others ones this season. We get Cook AND GaGa in the same night? (Well, a pre-taped Cook but still.) This may be the best idea Ken Warwick has had this season. Or ever. He doesn’t have a great track record.

I thought they were going to cut back to half an hour but they are getting some good talent, bring back an old Idol with something to promote and then a big name with a hit to promote, good formula. The hour now seems to whiz by as fast as the old half hour shows. Just no Jonas Brothers please.

1) how sold out have they been so far? and
2) what’s the women/men ratio in there?

Just asking because I really hope the tour’s going well but it’s hard to get objective info. Also, I hope the public is not made up only of us crazy girl fans, because to be up there for the long term he needs to break into the general rock public.

David’s shows have all been sell-outs so far, and have usually been selling out within hours (even minutes) of tickets going on sale.

Not sure of exact ratio of men to women, but certainly have been mostly of the female type :) Although, from pictures and videos, it does look like there are plenty of men; even at the student only venues, you can see plenty of young men in the audience.
