The Voice 7 two hour finale, which aired on NBC on December 16, topped last week’s twitter ratings. It rated even higher than The Colbert Report, which came in 3rd. The beloved Comedy Central series came to an end on Thursday ahead of host Stephen Colbert taking over the CBS Late Show.
The Voice performance finale came in 5th.
Also surprising: FOX’s The American Country Countdown Awards is in second place, and earned low ratings (0.9/3 3 3.39M viewers) when it aired against The Voice final performance episode on December 15. Go figure! There were some buzzy performances, including a Kelly Clarkson/Miranda Lambert duet in honor of Reba McEntire, that I’m guessing most folks watched on YouTube rather than live.
The Survivor finale came in 9th, just behind the Saturday Night Live episode featuring Amy Adams and One Direction.
