Video Premiere – Carrie Underwood’s “Two Black Cadillacs”!

Carrie Underwood premieres the video for her current country hit “Two Black Cadillacs.” Written by Carrie, Hillary Lindsey and Josh Kear, the song tells the dark tale of a wife and a mistress taking revenge on the man who was cheating on them both. “Two Black Cadillacs” sits at #11 on the country airplay charts this week, and is likely to make its move into the t10 in the next couple of weeks.

In behind the scenes footage viewable at her fanclub site, Carrie teases that her inspiration for the video was a classic Stephen King tale, and that she even got permission from the author himself to incorporate his story into the video! The video is directed by P.R. Brown, whom Carrie sought out because he has directed dark videos before and is a fellow fan of horror films.

What do you think of the video? Do you recognize the Stephen King story that inspired the treatment? Last but not least, who saw this kind of song and video coming from Carrie when she won Idol back in 2005?
