Of all the videos of PDSTM from Tulsa I’ve seen livehead’s camera seemed to be the only one able to penetrate the darkness to be able to see the idols on stage hugging. I want to know what camera she has and get one! LOL

I’m so glad Archie lost the shirt and tie for the final number, he looked great with the vest.

Wasn’t there an event during AI where the two were actually dressed alike with the same outfit and same exact hairdo? I can picture this but can’t remember what. I remember cracking up at them both having the same spiky/pointy hair LOL

^ I remember that too Trina, just can’t remember when (?). Man, they used a lot of silly string during PDSTM. I thought it was rather sweet of Brooke White to remove the excess silly string on David Cook’s head, as clearly he needed a little help.

I don’t know if this is the right thread for this comment but…. after watching all the videos of the tour, I think I would make an effort to go see 8 of the 10 if they came to my city. I don’t care much for Ramiele or Syesha, and DC and Jason are still my favs, but I absolutely adore Archie now and I think I realize how very talented Chikezie and the rest are.

I am so sad that I ended up not seeing this tour. Being in Kansas City, I was planning on going to both concerts here – ended up being in Calif for the birth of my sis’s baby. I did get a David Cook shirt as a gift from young friends who I gifted my idol tickets to – lol – (love it too but will be laughed at if I wear it out). Now I so wish I had planned ahead better and gone to St Louis or Chicago. Sigh……

I really like what Archie wore the last night. FINALLY he looked like a performer. Why didn’t they give him that to wear 52 friggin’ shows ago !?!? Sheesh. It always cracked me up on the finale song when he sings “I just came here to party” in his short sleeve shirt and tie. Yep those are get-down party clothes. LOL. I wish he and Cookie had a few more cat walk moments like they were starting to do. My favorite was when Cook gave him the bunny and they gave each other the thumbs up.

Could our favorite Mavid video mistress be bribed into making a montage of these ?!? Hmmm?? Pretty please. :thumbup_tb:

And thanks to you MJ for this site. I’ve really enjoyed following the tour all summer and all the extra tidbits you post keep this fangirl very happy (in her first post idol star crush. LOL :clap_tb:) It’s my one stop Idol ‘newspaper’ without the hassle of the paper.

Coming out of lurkdom to thank MJ and everybody for all of the great pictures, videos and stories from the AI7 Tour. I’m going to feel so lost without my morning update on the previous night’s Mavid and Archucook moments. :sad_wp: I have watched every season of Idol and this is the first time I’ve ever been this taken with the winner (and runner-up). Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make the show in my city, Detroit, but will be in Dearborn on Friday for Ford Day. :clap_tb: To me, this will be even better since the “Davids” are my favorites. :biggrin_wp:

I will be very surprised (but happy) if Archie sings “Crush”. I believe Ford Day is an AI event so I doubt that they would sing anything “post-Idol”…but we’ll see. I’ll be happy if we get a duet from them…hopefully “Heroes”.

I didn’t realize until that closer shot of PDSTM that Mavid were actually pelted by hot pink panties on the Mavid side of the stage. I could see at least 3 of them fly through the air, with 2 of them completely overshooting the stage and falling off the back of the catwalk. Funny.

You can see them in Livehead’s video too. After Cook & Johns hug, Cook goes to look for Archie and you can see on the right side of the video, Archie is walking away but turns back and Cook comes up to him for the hug. It’s at about 6:17 in the Livehead video.

I hope that these two stay close and that Ford Day is NOT the last time we see them together. :cry_wp:

ITA. The amount of class both have shown and how they always speak so highly of each other is a really nice thing to see. That moment in the finale when DC is singing and pulls Archie in next to him and has his arm around him still gets me.

AWWWWWW – this time this one made me all teary eyed. I am so sad this is over but hopeful that that wonderful 10 will ALL do well. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU MG – THIS HAS BEEN THE BEST SEASON OF ALL FOR ME BECAUSE OF THIS BLOG. MANY GOOD MEMORIES HERE AND A FEW GOOD FRIENDS MADE.
