Wow, Lisa great recap. I was there too but you put it into words so much better than I could. Your description of David’s set was just amazing. And yeah Andrew was sitting in that section on the side of the stage, near the Mavid ramp. I first spotted him during Chikezie’s set when he stood up to reach out his hand to Chikezie and I had to do a double take to make sure it was him! I never saw his mom though. I’m glad they could all be there.

It was such an emotional night for all of them but I think especially for David. Thanks for the great recap!

Lisa, that was GREAT! I was there too! I was sitting about 9 rows back in the first section off the floor on the Mavid side of the stage. Andrew was sitting right down there in front of that section, on the floor, in a little sorta “space” that wasn’t actually ON the floor. I spotted him right away. Far as I could tell, he was there the whole time. I couldn’t spot David’s Mom and Kim though, glad they were right there (of course they were). Yes, I think he smashed a “random” red guitar, not one of his personal guitars. He. is. something. else. A force to be reckoned with indeed. I just love him. Johns was ON FIRE too! And Archie was just incredible. Oh I’m gonna miss this little group…. Thank you again for the lovely recap. I have to write one for a bunch of people who want to know…maybe I shall post here… :wub_tb: :clap_tb:

Geek am jealous your seats were closer, lol. I did not notice David’s shaved face at all that night. I was too busy listening I think. Plus I was not close enough to get a really good look, lol. If I ever go to another concert, I will be up close to the stage dangit.

Michael was so good! But I could not stop laughing at the Porn Stache.

After David doused him in Silly String he said, “Can you guys take me seriously now?” Uh… we couldn’t take you seriously before, Mike!

I didn’t notice that David went and shaved himself a matching stache, of the handlebar variety, between Billie Jean and PDSTM.

I’m just glad he is now clean-shaven. Sort of. The boy scruffs up pretty quickly.

Thank you Geek! He pulled the old switcheroo eh? I did not see that from where I was sitting! He was beyond anything I could imagine.

Every Idol gave 100% of themselves on Saturday night, then they reached deep inside and pulled out another 100%. They laid it all out for us to see on that stage. Not one had an *off night*. They were all in the zone. It was fantastic. I wish I could buy a cd of it, lol.

Thank you all so much. I tend to get a bit wordy (which mj can vouch for after some of my emails, lol, sorry MJ).

I talked to Cass yesterday on the phone and she was talking about the church/star lady too. She was dead serious, that lady scared her, lol. She was worried about her state of mind and that she was right behind her. hahahaha.

I told her na the lady was just having fun in her own way and felt free enough to express it. I actually love seeing people that free!

Although I love snark, it was so nice to read such a genuine recap. You were so swee about all of the idols.

And I was feelin’ your initial unexcitedness and tiredness at the beginning of it all. Been there and done that numerous times only to end up pleasantly happy about an event.
