Lol at a 3.1 show being the best rated show for a Tuesday night,  I don’t know how the networks are still broadcasting with less than half the audience they had five years ago.
Either they made a whole lot of money back then and/or they have found new ways to earn money with their shows

So is this really bad for glee? or are they just averaging out to where they were before the whitney episode?

Exactly.  Under normal circumstances, a 3.1 usually isn’t good.

I wonder what network viewership is when you add in streaming and DVR+7 and cable viewers? Have people really stopped watching TV all that much or are they just watching it differently?

I can’t wait until the end of the year when we get the breakdowns for all the singing competition shows. I want to know who’s higher with 12-17 and 18-35 year olds, who is higher with African-American viewers, who is higher with men, etc? Should be interesting to see where each show’s strengths lie.

I find the ratings system so weird.  One show beats another by .1 in the demo but plays to less than 50% of their audience and the advertisers choose to support the .1 with the title of best of the night.  Makes me want to quit supporting any TV advertiers if they think I am worthless as an audience.

ABC Dancing with the Stars Results 2.4/6 13.87

Wow, talk about limping to the finish line!  I expect some major retooling for The Voice,,,,maybe they should rename it The Chairs, and just funnel a bunch of insignificant contestants through auditions and then have a sudden death finale. That’s the only reason why people watched it anyway.  Of course we must have the gratuitous song from the coaches.  I mean they gotta eat, right?

I guess people are not really not into “teenagers” doing Broadway numbers…
