Enjoy Smash while you can, because it fell once again this week, to a series low–dipping under a 1.0 rating. I hope Katharine McPhee is getting her headshots and resume in order.

    If I am not mistaken, Glee is already extended for another year (2013-2014) which will be Season 5, but I have the feeling that Season 5 will be the last season.

    Looking at Smash’s figures, I am glad that they decided not to have a seperate Glee spin- off with the characters that have already graduated from highschool in the previous season.

    You’re probably right. The close to $1 million profit they have made off of the recordings already doesn’t have any impact at all. Thanks for clearing that up!

    I like the idea of a broadway singing type show!  So I want it to stay on the air.

    I just wish they could make Katherine have an accident, perhaps break her leg and have to stop being in all the scenes and let Megan Hilty take over things for her. Permanently.  Maybe Katherine could then commit suicide because she is so depressed her career is over, and big stars could come on and sing at her funeral.

    I just don’t see how anyone would pick Katherine over Meagan for a leading sexy role.  That is the basic problem with the show.  It’s not logical.

    I actually like this season’s changes. I like the possibiltiy of a new musical from the 2 guys, the integrating of Ivy’s audition for “Liasons” and Ronnie’s dropping out of “The Wiz”, as well as the “dramaturg” ( Dan Sunjata from “Rescue Me”, of all shows!). Sure it’s not very true to life but it’s so different from procedural and reality shows, I want it to last.
    I had to watch both episodes on On Demand because of my work schedule, but plan to watch it as broadcast next weak.

    I admit that I didn’t watch Smash last year because the show was good, I watched it because it was a trainwreck.
