I’m liking Archie more and more…just needed to see more of his personality.

I still want Cook to win, but I’m beginning to like Archuleta more. Still won’t make me like his music, but he seems like a really sweet kid.

LOL Cracks me up every time I watch that clip. Those 2 are gold together. It’s too bad we didn’t get to see more of this kind of thing on the show. It took me all season to warm up to little David, now I love him. I’m okay with either one of these guys winning.

I hope AI truly does some serious re-vamping next year. I would much rather have a shorter results show and more time for them to sing. Would be awesome if they could sing an entire song instead of a minute-thirty, once it gets to a certain point – top six, perhaps? Or even top 3.

I dvr’d Idol Extra, can’t wait to get home from work and watch the top 12 reunion. Nice group of performers this year, lots of fun, the tour should be great with some cheesy numbers and mj’s favorite pointy poses!!!

I am gonna miss the little engine that could. It was really inspirational to watch her work her way through. I am proud of her, really proud.

Win or lose, these guys will be fine. And if they think thier life is a little crazy now, just wait until after the finale, the real work truly begins. It will be a joy to watch. I do love this show. Shenanighans and all, if this is the result of it, it ain’t half bad. David v. David is going to be a classic.

I was sad when I heard Carly say in an interview that she didn’t get to have her roast. How disappointing that must have been. I guess there was a time constraint involved, but really, they should have had one for her.

Another thing is that they’re supposed to pack on Tuesday because they won’t have time after the show. The “loser” has to get up at 3 AM to do live satellite interviews, and then they’re off to NYC to do the circuit there for about a week.

One thing I learned from Jason’s experience is that AI sends them to NY with a “handler”. All these behind the scenes goings-on are interesting to me.

I agree that televising the roasts would be fun, but I wonder if the contestants would feel as free to say whatever they wanted to if they knew millions of people would see it.

I don’t think its in one of the clips above, but when each was asked their feelings about being in the top two they were both very humble and honored to be there with the other. DC said that when he looked out at the audience and saw the Top 12 there were so many of those faces that he thought would be where he was and that he didn’t think anyone would invest in a bartender from KC. I think clips like that (and these above) would be nice to see on the show and it would give people better opinions of both Davids. Those that think DC has a big ego can see the humble side to him and those that think DA has no personality can see him interacting with the others. Win, win, for both sides I think.

and the first impressions video was probably the best thing to come out of AI this year…i deff don’t care who wins now…and i think i like DC’s personality a bit more.
