Watch Tony Lucca of The Voice  sing an acoustic version of “Death of Me”.  He introduces it as the “anti-Valentine” song.  Tony was in New York City to play two back to back shows at the Rockwood Music Hall.  He stopped by the OK Magazine offices to perform.

His late-night performance brought out Sara Bareilles, who jumped onstage to cover Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m On Fire” with him.

If you don’t remember Tony, he’s the contestant who had co-starred on the Mickey Mouse Club with Voice coach, Christina Aguilera, who had to be reminded of who he was.

Great acoustic performance. Death of Me is my favorite of his songs.

So funny, I’ve had this song on my ipod forever, didn’t realize that ~that guy was ~this guy. I can’t even remember how I originally came across the song, but it didn’t compel me to download anything else by him, though I do like this song. Maybe Xtina’s right, he’s just not very memorable, lol.

This dude is winning The Voice.  He already has the fanbase and I’m sure Levine has already picked him as his golden child.
