X Factor and Survivor were both down from last week. Nashville won it’s time slot handily beating the other newbie drama, Chicago Fire on NBC. NCIS had more viewers, but Nashville won in the demo.

FOX was the number 1 network with adults 18-49, but CBS won with total viewers.

On FOX,  The X Factor garnered a 3.4, down a tenth from last week’s 3.5 adults 18-49 rating.

On CBS, Survivor: Philippines earned a 2.6, down four tenths from last week’s 3.0 adults 18-49 rating and a new low.

On ABC, the premiere of Nashville at 10PM earned a 2.8 rating.

    XFactor’s numbers were adjusted up, so they actually are the at the same as last week at 3.5. Which granted, isn’t The Voice numbers, and may not justify the advertising and salaries, I have zero idea on that one. But I do know consistently scoring a 3.5 is actually not bad in network land these days. The drops in viewership have NOT be pretty, and Fox has especially been hard hit. So a 3.5 consistent deliverer is actually pretty good. 

    Though again, that’s not knowing how much profit margin this show has, all other factors being considered.
